Son's Outfit of the Day 2/27/12&2/28/12

Ok sorry have not put these on here for the past two days I don't have any thrifty finds for the past few days but we did go out so here are his ootd for 2/27/12 and 2/28/12.. The first is from 2/27/12 it is a Carters shirt green and camo with roughest and toughest written on it got this on clearance for 6.99, the pants are Levis they came from the goodwill for 2.00 and a pair of brown Sketchers that were purchased at the goodwill for 1.50 (they were in excellent condition)..

The secon is from 2/28/12 it is an Old Navy long sleeve button up shirt that looks layred (grey undershirt)got this from ebay for about 1.50, a pair of grey Old Navy cargo pants got these at Once Upon a Child (consignment store) 5.50 and a pair of Puma tennis shoes got these at goodwill for 1.50 (these were in excellent condition)..

Thanks for reading like I said go check out your local goodwills, thrift stores and consignment stores you can always find good deals on kids clothing oh and don't forget ebay (the only thing with ebay is it is usually better to buy in lots I will explain that better later).. Lazy Sunday...

Ok wanted to get the pics posted from yesterday that I could not do until today so here they are.. Here are the three shirts I got at K-mart for 2.39 a piece (these were regular 8.99 a piece so I saved 20.00) thought these were very cute the two shirts on the bottom look layered and the one on top has a thermal top part and says "dirt don't hurt" at the bottom (too cute)...

And here is a pic of my son's outfit of the day (it is just easier for me to take the pic without him wearing it he moves too much and can't get a good pic) The shirt is Old Navy and has "best show on dirt" written on it got this at a yard sale maybe 1.00 and the pants are greendog (macy brand) got these at goodwill for 2.00 he also wore a pair of Buster Brown boots (not pictured sorry) they were purchased at a yard sale for 2.00...

Now it is time to do the nightly routine and finish up the laundry.. Thanks for reading hope you got some thrifty ideas!!

Thrifty Finds 2/25/12

I did get a couple of deals today but got back late and my son was asleep so do not have any pics may put them up tomorrow we will see.. We went to K-mart with my mom today and they were having 40% off of their clearance on clothes and I found my son three really cute shirts for 2.39 a piece!! Also got a couple containers to put his art supplies in and they were only 2.00 a piece.. We went up to the craft shop and changed my boothe around as well and looked around in there but did not find anything.. All in all it was a good day so hopefully I can get those pics up tomorrow now I am going to rest.. Thanks for reading!!

Thrifty Finds for 2/24/12

Ok so my son and I ran some errands today so of course we went to the local goodwill while we were out and I got my son 2 pairs of shorts one Circo brand (camo) and one IZOD brand (white, blue and red) these were $2.00 a piece..

Also got 3 Nick Jr. books in excellent condition for .35 a piece (my son loves to "read")

Then when we got home my package from Kohls.com came in today it was 3 John Deere t-shirts these were normally 14.00 a piece but with the presidents day sale and the 20% off coupon they were only 7.00 a piece :) that price is with the shipping included when you take the shipping out the shirts were only 5.10 a piece (if you have a kohls card you can get even better savings and free shipping sometimes)

and last but not least my son's outfit of the day :)His shirt says "Sir Rocks Alot" with a guitar it is Old Navy brand I paid 3.99 for it on clearance, His jeans are skinny leg with little red and blue lightning bolts on the booty and they are Wonder Kids brand (K-mart) they were a chirstmas gift from my mom (so not sure on the price)and his shoes are red Converse Chucks with a white star on the side got them at the goodwill for 1.50..

Sorry he had to have blue in the pic and would not stop moving him around and my camera is not the greatest but maybe if this catches on and people enjoy it I can use my good camera for the pics haha.. Thanks for taking the time to read hope I give you some thrifty ideas!!

The Begining

Ok so I am new at this blog thing but will do my best.. Wanted to start this because of my love for finding a good deal (if it costs over $5 I do not want it with some exceptions) felt like sharing my experiences some people may enjoy it.. I like watching those kinds of videos on YouTube but when you are very shy it is hard to do something like that so thought this was a good route to go :) Hope people will enjoy it!! Where I live is a small town so not alot of selection but I still find quite a few  things..  I may put other things on here just not too sure yet.. I also make crafts as a hobby so maybe I will show that and my son's outfits of the day (lol) and tell you how much it costs from head to toe cause I think he is pretty cute on a budget but  there will not be any outfits of the day for me though (no fashion sense what so ever and do not pretend to have it hehe) I will be doing alot of kids clothing hauls though cause that is what I love and makeup we will just have to see where it takes us.. Hope you come along for the ride this is not going to be anything serious or probably in most peoples opinions interesting but I am just trying to have some fun..
