Pre-Conception Buys For Baby #2..Vol. 1...

As the title says this is a pre-conception baby buys haul I named it vol. 1 because I am sure there will be more of them especially with yard sale season quickly approaching.. This is a collective haul of items I have picked up along the way for the last 4 months since we decided to try for baby #2 and it really isn't alot for 4 months of saving also the items from my previous post from kmart are with this too.. This is all the new with tag items that I have bought so far.. 2 packs of swaddle me blankets 7.99 a pack at kmart, gerber newborn sleepers 1.99 kmart, infantino rattle socks 1.00 goodwill, zutano (at target) security blanket 2.00 at goodwill (still on target website for 10.00), 6 packs of 4 baby wash cloths .25 a pack at walmart (only one pictured), nuby mesh feeder 1.00 thrift store, child of mine alligator jacket 1.00 walmart and disney 101 dalmation crib sheet 1.99 kmart.. These are the used items (not clothing).. 3 flannel receiving blankets .75 a piece at thrift store, hand knitted blanket 1.00 goodwill, saige green thermal blanket 1.00 goodwill, 2 swaddle blankets 1.50 a piece at consignment sale, handmade burp cloth (looked brand new) 1.00 goodwill and melissa and doug snake grasping toy .10 at thrift store (it is very used but these sell for $10-$13 a peice).. This is the used clothing I have picked up, like I said it is not that bad considering it has been over a 4 month period.. Carters hug sleeper 3 months 1.00 goodwill, carters duck gown 0-6 months 1.00 goodwill, carters flower one piece newborn 1.00 goodwill, pooh sack 0-6 months (has ears on the hat) 1.00 goodwill, green hat-duck hat-mittens all in a bag for 1.00 goodwill, pumpkin hat hand knitted 1.00 goodwill, carters pink elephant outfit newborn cardigan-onesie-pants (this is what I will bring the baby home in if it is a girl I know too soon to be thinking about that but can't help it so cute!!) 3.00 goodwill, carters cupcake sleeper 3 months 1.00 goodwill and carters one piece outfit newborn (can turn into a gown) .50 thrift store..

Um....Wow....and A Kmart Haul!!!...

Hello there.. Wow has it been almost a month since my last post... Time is flying April is almost over then we will blink our eyes and May will be gone... A few updates.. My son is still pooping in his pant, yay for that!! Still trying for baby #2.. In 3 days it will be 7 years since my husband and I started dating (like I said don't blink) and I am growing increasingly angry that I can not paint my nails (every time I try they look horrible but I keep buying nail polish, see end of blog)... Now on to the fun stuff!! I went to my local kmart today where my son and I found some really great deals!! First off the whole reason we went there was because my son needs socks for the summer and in their ad for this week they had 10 packs for 5.88 so I bought two packs, the winter clearance is down to 1.99 so I picked up the black sweater and tan pants, next we have 2 pairs of thermal underwear 2.00 a piece and a set of 3 pairs of thick socks 3.00 (the last three were bought at walmart).. As you know we are trying for baby #2 so when I seen this stuff for .99 a piece I had to grab them up!! Brown plush monkey rattle w/socks, blue plush bear security blanket w/socks, pink pig security blanket w/socks, pacifer that says "daddy's girl" w/cute ballerina socks, box set with 2 pair of booties with rock theme, pink stripe bow hat w/socks, the cutest tux bib w/cute shoe socks, the cutest bib that looks like a necklace w/ shoe socks (I am going to use these for when we find out the gender but that will be in another post once we get pregnant lol) and 2 packs of 3 pairs of socks (I had to get these who can pass up 6 pairs of socks for 1.98?).. I also got some sally hansen mint green nail polish (have no idea why)for 1.50 and a play doh set for my son that was 4.99.. I spent 31.76 on everything from kmart today not to bad especially when the baby stuff alone regular price was 54.00!! Sorry it has been so long it really didn't seem that long lol but I do have a few blogs planned mostly haul stuff haha of course but may do some tag ones soon we shall see!!

Cute And Thrifty 03/25/13-03/31/13....

03/25/13-Baby gap green shirt (clearance 8.99), baby gap pants (goodwill 2.00) and new balance tennis shoes (new yard sale 5.00) so whole outfit cost 16.99 now that is cute and thrifty!! This became one of my fav outfits to put my son in, it is just too cute and comfy for him!! 03/29/13-Old navy racoon shirt (magic mart 4.99), old navy camo cordorouy pants (goodwill 2.00) and cherokee brown boots (new goodwill 4.79) so the total for whole outfit was 12.78 now that is cute and thrifty!! 03/30/13-Arizona plaid button up shirt (consignment 2.00), sonoma jeans (goodwill 2.00) and brown cherokee boots (new goodwill 4.79) so whole outfit cost 8.79 now that really is cute and thrifty!! (he also had a brown shirt underneath his button up but it was given to us) 03/31/13-His Easter outfit!! Baby gap light denim shirt (consignment 2.25), baby gap linen pants (yard sale 3.00), osh kosh sweater vest (peebles clearance 3.88) and a pair of brown loafers (not pictured just realized sorry) (yard sale 3.00) so his whole Easter outfit cost 12.13 now that is really cute and thrifty not bad for an easter outfit!!
