A Thrift Haul Y'all-Vintage Milk Can-Gnome-Mickey Mouse Books

     Hello thrifty mommas!! This is a collective haul of items I found this week. First is the vintage milk can I got at goodwill for $20! Then I found this cute gnome sign at a craft shop for $15. Lastly I picked my younger son up this set of mickey mouse board book nip for 1.99 at goodwill. 

 

This is Why I Love Thrifting-Vintage Dooney and Bourke-AWL Pebbled Cream Hobo Purse

     Hello thrifty mommas!! I have had some good luck the past three weeks with vintage purse finds. This week I found a vintage all weather peebled leather dooney and bourke cream hobo purse. I found this beaut at the salvation army for 9.99! I was so excited I don't have one this style or color yet. It is missing i'ts hang tag charm but the price was too good to not get it. 

 

 

Goodwill Thrift Haul-Boards and Birds

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Found some great items at the goodwill this week. Got the two message boards for 1.99 a piece (the big one is new) and the letters for 1.59. Got the cast iron candle holder (?) for 1.99 and the cute wooden bird for .99. 

 

My Primitive/Farmhouse Decor for Sping/Summer 2022-Box Shelves

     Hello thrifty mommas!! This is my last installment of my primitive/farmhouse decor for spring/summer 2022, this is what I call my box shelf and I just love it so much. I used a lot of galvanized metal with vintage books and white and blue accents. Of course I used some brass and beads, I really like how my old barrel with my windmill turned out using that doily. Really starting to like the white accents a lot and that is so funny because I used to never go for white. 

 

This Is Why I Love To Thrift-Vintage Coach Burgundy/Cranberry Leather Legacy Hobo Slim Duffle Bag-9816

     Hello thrifty mommas!! I have been on a lucky streak with my vintage leather coach purse finds. As you have seen I got a brown smaller bag last week and this week I found this beaut. This is the Legacy hobo slim duffle bag 9816 in a deep burgundy or a cranberry color I have never had a bag in this pretty color and I love it! Upon further research this bag was made in May of 1999. It is missing the hang tag and the bottom is a little worn but for the bargain price of 4.99 I can not complain. 

 

My Primitive/Farmhouse Decor Spring/Summer 2022-Top Of My Curio Cabinet

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Sharing my decor in my primitive/farmhouse home, this is the top of my curio cabinet I added the blue lantern for a pop of color and the vintage jar has some greenery and my grandfather's vintage marbles. I had to add one of my brass bells and my tiered tray is overflowing with awesome little things. There is an old quilt piece, books, brass, greenery and a gnome or two (of course). 

 

My Primitive/Farmhouse Decor for Spring/Summer 2022-Ladder Shelf

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Time to share my primitive/farmhouse decor for the spring and summer 2022, this is the ladder shelf in my living room. I just love how this turned out this year, I used a lot of new items that I have been picking up thrifting. I used a lot of old books and brass, I put some white accents and also light blue and teal I really am very happy with it. Of course you know I have to use my greenery I just love a good pick of greenery to add to a display. So glad I finally took the leap with my old books. 

 

This Is Why I Love Thrifting-Brown-Vintage Coach-Curtis Bag-9975

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Look what I found at goodwill last week... This is a vintage coach Curtis bag 9975. I was walking past the purses and noticed the very nice hardware and thought "could this be a Coach"?? And yes, yes it was (I am getting better at spotting the quality in purses). Of course it is made of this gorgeous brown leather the only thing is it's missing it's hang tag but that is ok cause they would have charged me more if it was on there. With more research I have found out this is called british tan and was made in June of 1996. I don't have very many brown bags so I was happy to find one this time. I love the look of these vintage purses and when you can get them for 4.99 that's even better! 

 

This Is Why I Love To Thrift-Goodwill-Brass Vase-Window Chalkboard/Memo Board

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Here are a couple of recent thrift finds from goodwill. First is this very pretty etched brass vase for 1.99 and then this old window frame repurposed into a chalkboard/memo board for only $5! I love to thrift for this reason I could never find these items for such a great price in a craft shop or antique mall. 

 

My Primitive/Farmhouse Spring/Easter Decor 2022

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Here is my spring/easter decor for 2022, I never decorated for easter before but like I said in my other post the sign got me and I am so glad it did. I really like how this turned out and most of it came from amazon (gnomes, eggs and beads) what didn't come from amazon I showed in another post. As you can see I love gnomes they are so adorable, I even added some of my vintage books to the display! *I added the brass butterfly I found at the salvation army for .99 to the display, it's so pretty!!*

 

Some Easter Decor Pickups-Family Dollar-Dollar General-Walmart

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Wanted to share a few of my easter decor pickups with you today. I actually decided to decorate for easter this year inside of my house. The reason being the very first pic, I got this adorable gnome sign at family dollar for $5! That was it I had to get more stuff, I got the really cute happy easter sign at walmart for 3.98 and the adorable beaded bunny wreath at dollar general for $5 also. I did get a few things from amazon but that pic got deleted but you can see those items in my easter/spring decor living room blog.
