Thrifty Thursday..07/18/13-07/24/13..

Yard sale buys.. Books for my son all for under 2.00, new with tag water old navy water bottle .10, black starter swim shirt for my son 1.00, bowls .25 a piece, bracelets .50 a piece, toy car .25, cow flash light .50 (so annoying.....) and bottle top for cans .50 (I dislike these as well they do not come off of your can once on there do not recommend)..

Goodwill finds.. Toy drum .95, alphabet caterpillar .95, aquadoodle pens .55, cherokee jacket orange and black stripe one 2.00 (new from target, love these they are soo soft), baby hair bows 1.00, green swaddler 1.00 and fisher price projecter toy .95.. 

Yard sale/goodwill finds.. Cookie jar toy 1.00, soft blanket 1.00, santa house craft .95, diego book .50, carters brown shoes 3.00 (never worn), baby gap shirt .50 and wrangler jeans .50..

Walmart clearance.. Newborn jacket 1.00, newborn pants 1.00, gerber mittens 2.00, child of mine fuzzy baby socks 2.00 per pack (since the socks were on clearance for $2 a pack I went back and got 4 more different packages of socks not pictured) and my dogs paws priceless :)... 

My mom has bought a few things for the baby at yardsales but they are bigger so have been put away for now so I am just going to show stock pics that I found on google.. First is the fisher price doggie play gym 5.00 (in new condition), baby einstein caterpillar activity mat 15.00 (this is in excellent condition and still i stores anywhere from $40-$65) and last but not least the fisher price rock and play in snuggle bunny for $25 (this is in excellent condition as well and still in store for any where between $50-$75).. 

As you can see I will be having alot of thrifty thursdays so may have to go to doing the once a week!! See you can still get everything you want and be thrifty!! 

Pregnancy Updates... Weeks 10-12...

As of wed. I was 12 weeks pregnant, can not believe we are there already it is crazy!!
-I am still feeling sick but it is mostly just in the evenings now not all day so that is a plus.. My boobs are not longer sore just every now and then they get a little sensitive..
-I still have food aversions and cravings like as of this week I am obsessed with spagettios and meatballs, chips and french onion dip and lemon fiber one bars of course none of these items are very good for you..
-Of course I am still running to the bathroom every 2 minutes that is not going to change anytime soon..
I had my 12 week check up a few days ago and everything is going great with baby and I..
-I have only gained 2 pounds since my 7 week appointment, even though my cravings aren't the healthiest.. --Had to do a glucose test which they havent called me yet so guess that turned out to be ok..
-Baby is growing like a weed and is very shy in two ultra sounds it has managed to "run" from us so quickly that I can't ever get a good look, hopefully it will cooperate at the 20 week one..
I guess that is about it nothing too exciting happened (except my appointment) over the past two weeks but if anything comes up will  keep you updated!!

Thrifty Thursday.. 06/21/13-07/17/13...

White flower onesie 1.00 (walmart clearance), pink heart onesie 1.00 (walmart clearance), baby gap stripped hooded outfit 1.00 (goodwill), gerber purple sleeper new 1.00 (goodwill), waterproof crib mattress cover 3.00 (goodwill), yellow stripe thermal blanket 1.00 (goodwill) and green thermal blanket 1.00 (goodwill)..

Mini boden dinosaur shirt 2.00 (goodwill), carters greatest brother shirt 2.00 (goodwill), childrens place sweater 2.00 (goodwill), clear stripe box 1.00 (goodwill),  hooked on phonics game .95, the fuzzy duckling .55, brown bear brown bear book .55 and johnny tractors new friend book .55..

Also forgot to take a pic of this and have put it in storage already so here is a stock photo of it.. It is the first years infant to toddler deluxe reclining feeding seat got it for $20 new in box at goodwill.. These are selling everywhere for $40 right now so got a really good deal on it I wanted a space saver high chair but decided to get this for the price it will work just as well and space savers are anywhere from $35-$55..

Pottery barn kids retired bedding set springtime bunnies I got this off of ebay the curtain (pic in 8-10 week blog) was $13.42 after shipping and the bedding set that was the comforter/quilt, bumper pad and bed skirt for $43.70.. All together  I spent $57.12 which may seem expensive but if you look at pottery barns website most of just the comforter/quilts cost $119.00 by themselves so it was a pretty good deal.. (I borrowed this pic from google to show you what it looked like since it has been put in storage for now)..

Pregnancy Updates... Weeks 8-10...

To start off Happy 4th of July everyone hope you had a happy and safe holiday with your family!! As of today I am 10 weeks pregnant, I can not believe it!! I also can not believe it is July already where has the year gone my goodness.. I don't have another Dr.'s appointment until July 17th so no new updates on anything like that but I do have updates on other things.. I am happy to report just after nine weeks my severe nasuea has calmed down I can actually get out of the bed and get somethings done which is making my husband very happy.. My cravings have changed too, as of this posting I love cucumber sandwiches on bagels and peanut butter pop-tarts (this one is very bad I limit myself to 1 of those a day since I am really trying to watch my sugar intake plus just one of these babies has a whopping 200 calories yikes!!).. My boobs are not as sore either which is very good since just my shirt brushing up against them sent me into shock.. Still running to the bathroom like crazy and speaking of that when I turned 8 weeks got a call from my Dr. who informed me that  I had a urinary tract infection and needed to take antibiotics, which was very peculiar to me because I felt no signs of one but she is the Dr right.. I still have food aversions which is really weird because one day I love something then a few days later it makes me want to vomit but I guess that is just how it goes with pregnancy.. In other baby news I have made a decision on the theme of the baby's room.. Drum roll please..

This is a pottery barn kids set that has been retired I fell in love with it and no other set would do.. I found it on ebay for a very nice price (since it is pottery barn kids and retired these sets can sell anywhere from $50-$200 it just depends) I will get more into that in another post.. I have a collection of vintage wooden toys and wanted that to be the main theme of the room so I went on the look out for a set that would go with that and be gender neutral and found this but like I said I will have another post on this later on.. Well that is about it for weeks 8-10 see you in a couple of weeks for another update!!
