Mail Call..... Sephora Play November 2018

It's that time again, it's mail call time.... Last week I received my Sephora Play box for the month of November 2018. I may be canceling my subscription before long, because I just do not use most of the items sent to me. This months box was good, I'm just not that type of girl. My boys keep me too busy to try anything new. I did get a perfume that I really liked and a lip gloss but it has plumper in it and I do not like that tingling feeling at all. The rest was skin care or hair care and I will not be using it. Most likely I will pass it along to a friend. Also it is getting to be that time of the year Holiday season time so as usually I probably wont be on here a lot. 

Goodwill Find.. Christmas tree pillows

It's a Christmas post!! This is the start of the Christmas season for me, I have been picking things up all year. I mostly buy vintage items but do pick up a few newer things as well. At the goodwill last week I found these handmade tree pillows, I thought these would look good on my porch swing with my outside decor. They were only $2 a piece so I took the chance. I'll let you know how it looks! 

Goodwill Find... Micheal Kors wristlet

This Micheal Kors wristlet was an awesome goodwill find, not sure how it got past the people in the back but I am glad it did! I NEVER have luck finding Micheal Kors at thrift stores (unless it is way too expensive for me). I had already been to the goodwill earlier last week but decided to run in anyway to kill some time, glad I did cause in the pile of wallets and makeup bags I found this beauty. It was only $1!! It is in brand new condition I do not think it was ever used and I love the blue accents. It is authentic (at first I thought it was fake but looked nice, once I got home I realized it was real) it has the plastic tag and number on the bottom and all the markings it is real. I was so happy, didn't need to buy anything else that day 😉

Mail Call.... ipsy for October 2018

Yeah, so..... Here is my ipsy bag for October of 2018... It is up a little late cause (as my son would say, um reasons). Overall the bag was good (the products in it were nice just not for me) but I was a bit disappointed, for some reason I seem to get a nail polish every month, I like nail polish but it would be nice to receive something different. Besides the nail polish the only other thing I'm going to use is the shape tape concealer. The eye shadow is nice, it is pigmented and soft but the color is not one I will use and the brightening cream I am not too into. I may use the mask I do enjoy them sometimes. Hoping the month of November is better but we shall see, also this may be posted after I have received November's bag since it is going up so late 🙄🙄

Thrift Haul.... decor and kids stuff (shocker...)

Well hello there! I am back from my usual hiatus but at least it was only a few weeks and not months/years.... Of course I am going to come back with a thrift haul, there is never a better way to come back. I went to the salvation army and goodwill last week and here are some of my goodies. 

New mailbox cover .79, plate stands .39 a piece and 2 sets of 2 burlap craft pictures 1.29 a piece all of these came from salvation army. 

Find it game 1.99, gum tooth brush 1.00 and body shop 3 pack of lip butter .99 all of these items came from goodwill. 

I spy books .10 a piece and alf stuffed toy .50 all came from goodwill. 

Red truck set of 4 place mats 3.99 and the plaid blanket I started taking pics on was 1.99 at goodwill.

Mail Call... Sephora play box for October 2018

Hello lovelies!! My sephora play box came for the month of October the other day! I was hoping for a more Halloween themed box but then I was like, hmmmm self what exactly is Halloween themed make up products 🤷🤦 So after I had that talk with my self I looked in my box, it was a good box and worth the $10 you pay for it. Only problem with my box was my Kat Von D perfume was broken😥 I was so sad, my favorite part of these boxes is the perfume samples. Not sure if I am going to keep my subscription boxes or not, they are worth the money but I find myself not using the items like I want to. Only time will tell I guess.. 

Guess they are sticking with the plastic bag theme. 

Here are all the items I received. 

Things I will defiantly be using (at some point) this coconut cream moisturizer and concealer stick.

I am excited to try this setting spray.

The infamous perfume sample, you actually got 2 samples in this the sinner (which is a more masculine scent) and saint (which is a more floral feminine scent). The saint was broken in mine so I was disappointed because that is the one I would have worn. Not much on masculine scents. 

These 2 products I won't be using it is a anti aging serum and an under eye serum, just not my thing.

Yard Sale Haul.. nail polish and more

It has been a while since I did a yard sale haul (or haul of any kind) I have been thrifting just not posting. Since I have been sick for a couple of weeks I am starting to feel better maybe I can get some posts up now. Last weekend my mom and I headed out to some sales and also goodwill this is what I got. 

More nail polish and gel polish items. All were .50 a piece. 

Forever red perfume from bath and body (90%) full .50 and avon foundation 1.99 (goodwill)

Bags of toys 1.99 and 2.99 small globe 1.29 (goodwill)

New with tag truck bin 2.99 (goodwill) 

I've been sick 😥

     Sorry for the break in blogs, I know you were thinking that I was skipping out again 😏 but I have not. I have been sick for a week now, the only thing I have got done is taking care of my kids and a little house work. I had some kind of sinus issue, it wasn't anything bad but for some reason it kept me down for a week. I am guessing lack of sleep or rest, you know you are supposed to get that when you are sick.  I wanted to get on here to ask a question. When you are sick does your husband help you out? I can tell you mine does not, I still have to take care of my kids and the house with no help. When he is sick he gets to come home get in bed and sleep ALL NIGHT LONG. I never get that luxury, so I was just wandering if it is a "normal" thing or what.
     I am not complaining about taking care of my kids at all it really infuriates me that even when I feel really bad, so bad that my head felt like it was going to explode. I still had to do everything on my own. Get the kids ready for school, taking them, washing clothes, picking up, cleaning up after meals, cooking dinner and when your head feels like your eye ball is going to pop out of the socket, it becomes a bit difficult.  I do realize I do not work and taking care of the kids is my "job" but dang just one day. I also remember a day last year I had the stomach virus and STILL HAD TO CHANGE MY YOUNGER SONS POOP PULL UP! I mean really I have the damn flu! I guess this is where all those memes come from about when a woman has a cold versus when a man has a cold 💁‍♀️

Mail Call.... walmart beauty box fall 2018

Got my walmart beauty box for the fall. I was a little more impressed with this one than the summer. There were some pretty neat things in this months box. I liked the box it came in too and the inside was wrapped up nicely. I'm excited about the mask, mascara and the lip mask. Don't think I will use the soap or the foam conditioner but still nice sample sizes. The foil pack samples are ok but with only 1 tissue or a little bit I can't tell if the products work or not. It would also be nice to have coupons if you liked the items to purchase full sizes but for $5 you get a good amount. 

Thrift Haul...

It's a thrift haul y'all!! This is a mash up of goodwill and a few yard sales. This is from a couple of weeks ago but still wanted to share the cool items I found. It is mostly kids items but that is what I look for when thrifting. Hope you enjoy!

Yard Sale Find... dooney and bourke purse

Welcome to another yard sale find post. This post is about this authentic dooney and bourke purse I found at a yard sale for .50! It does have a few issues like the corners have wear to them but for the price it is still a nice bag. I do love the signature print like the coach bags I carry, plus it is black ant that matches everything. I got a really good deal, makes you wonder why the got rid of it?  Also sorry about the pics for some reason they turned out kind of awful HAHAHAHA! I will try harder necxt time :)
