What sold in the month of August 2019....

I didn't have very much luck on ebay this month with sales, I listed some items but only this one  item sold... I did have some luck selling some of my kids toys and puzzles they had grown out of. I made $75 from those items for my thrift fund. 

    This pioneer woman peeler set sold for $15 with the 1.95 paypal/ebay fees and the 4.49 shipping I made 8.56. I didn't put what I paid for these cause they came in a gift set but I already have them so I wanted to sell them to some one else who could use them. Hoping for a better month in September but we shall see.... In total for the month with my yard sale page sales and the one ebay sale I made 83.56 not bad, thank goodness for they yard sale page this month!

Yard Sale Find... coach poppy purse

It's another purse post.... This is the other purse I got at the yard sale where I got the longchamp and the other coach. This one is a coach poppy it has gold accents and it has a little wear but for $10 I can't complain too much. I have one like this with pink accents too so I may sell that one since I have this one now! I feel this one will get more use than the pink. Another great bag for under $10!

Had a good weekend finding purses. At one yard sale I found 3 at once, this usually does not happen it has been a long time since I found any purses. I got both of these lovelies for $10. The coach has a little bit of wear but the longchamp is in excellent condition. Since there is some wear I won't be afraid to carry it and get it dirty.  I love when I can find name brand purses for less than $10! 

Yard Sale Haul... bath and body

It is another bath and body yard sale post. I find all kinds of bath and body works at yard sales. That is where most of my collection comes from. All of the bath and body products was $1 (there is pink chiffon full, signature series coconut full, pink chiffon wash full and secret wonderland full) and the Badgley Mischka perfume (love the case it is in) was 1.99 at goodwill. I love my perfume, sprays and body washes! 

What's in the bag??? Mega boys toys

It's a mega boys what's in the bag opening!! Went to an awesome yard sale that had some great deals on toys. Got all the thomas the trains for 5.00, got all the cars for 3.00 and the little ducks was .50. I was very excited about the ducks cause they show emotions and my younger son needs help with that. I love buying toys at yard sales, about 85% of their toys are thrifted, you can't beat the deals! 

CVS Sale Haul.... Halloween-flower-dinos

This is a first on this blog it is a cvs haul. I ran in to get a prescription and of course I checked out the clearance and Halloween items. My boys love "sensory" toys so these silicone squishy things are right up their alley. The youngest is getting in to dinos, they had a sale on those too. I also had a $6 off $30 purchase, I mean if it is basically free why not?? 

The eyeballs was 1.19 a piece, the big pumpkin was 2.10, the pumpkin/skeleton set was 1.68 and the skull and pumpkin balls was 1.68 a piece. I was happy to find these and grab them early. 

These items was on summer clearance for 50% off. The flower seed buckets was 2.50. the small flower seed pots was 1.68 a piece and the emoji soaker toy was 2.50. 

The triceratops dino was 3.03 (I did not realize it wasn't the same brand as the others or he would have stayed there) the other 3 was only 1.38 a piece. 

Walmart Clearance Haul... Polly pocket-ryans toy-slime

This is all the toys I have picked up the past few weeks on clearance at my local walmart. The pj masks car was 2.00, the maze was 2.50, ryans world figures 2.00 a pack and gemstone putty 1.00. Polly pocket lockets 1.00 a piece, dino 2.00, small farm 2.00 and inflatable swords 2.00. Last item I found was the ryans world surprise egg, regular 40.00 on sale for 9.00! Gonna use this as a Christmas present for my younger son with the little figures, he is going to be excited! 

Yard Sale Haul.... bowl and toys

Had some luck at a few yard sales and the goodwill last weekend. Got the hazel atlas mixing bowl for 1.29 (goodwill), apple pie air freshener for 3.00 (yard sale), crayola notepad .50 (goodwill). Barney cars 5.00 (yard sale) and barney plush .50 (goodwill). The barbies were .50 a piece (yard sale), I'm really excited about the one on the end (even though she is nude) she is selling on ebay for $30 or more and I think I may have her original outfit! Got the spin broom for 1.00, trini power rangers doll with full outfit .99 (goodwill) and a pretty new with tag bra for 1.00 (goodwill). That is why I love to go thrifting and to yard sales, you never know what you will find! 

What's in the bag???.... barbies and fairies

Went to the goodwill and a few yard sales this past week and found some cute dolls to clean up. The bags of dolls was 1.00 a bag and the big bag was 1.99. I love these bags of random you never know what you will find! In the one bag of dolls I found a 1960s barbie (she is not in the best condition but still to find one is amazing, she is on my vintage blog but wanted to mention her). The big bag came from goodwill it had shopkins, small toys and a lot of tinkerbell polly pocket dolls and accessories. 

Walmart Clearance Haul... wet n wild-shoes-elf

Got some good deals the past few weeks at walmart, they have clearance deals all the time but my favorite ones are at the end of the season when they are trying to get stuff out to make room for new items. This past week I found some awesome deals in the make up aisle and some shoes for next summer. All the shoes were only $1 a pair, I love the slides to wear around the house and they are really comfortable. The make up was a good deal too at 50% off. The wet n wild icon eye shadows was only 2.50, the elf make up remover wipes was 1.50 (I love these wipes), the elf concealer was 1.00 and the wet n wild leo lip gloss was 2.00. I got some amazing deals on toys too, that will be another post! 

Yard Sale Find.... coach purse

Found another coach purse to add to my collection! This one is in brand new condition, it still had the care instructions card in the pocket and was super clean. It was probably not even carried and the lady only charged me $2! It will be a perfect flea market/vacation purse. It is only big enough for a small wallet/wristlet, keys and a phone but that's all you need most time. This is another amazing yard sale find!!

I don't know about you but I love a good bag of random. My goodwill puts toys (they also put decor and other items in bags too)  into bags to sell them all together. I have seen other goodwills put them in bins but I like this better. Of course you are going to get more than you need but I resale what I won use. Most of the time I just want to see what's in the bag...

Goodwill Haul... kids stuff

Time for a small goodwill haul.. I got all of this the other day, I swear some days you find nothing and other days you are debating on what to put back. I got very lucky this day, my son was super excited that is for sure.. The star theater was 2.99, the galaxy gumball dispenser was 1.99, the grabber was 1.00 and the goozooka slime kit (brand new so was the gumball machine) was only .50!! 

It's the day before school starts....

     It's the day before school starts and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a hermit crab... Me in my sweat pants and poppa playing his computer had just settled our brains for a not so long nap.... When from in one of the rooms there arouse such a clatter I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter... But what to my wandering eyes should appear but a 10 year old boy who has to have a drink near.. With a story and a snack and a million questions.. I knew in a minute it was anxiety kicking in.. I went straight to my work got him squared away only to hear a 5 year old waking up too... Now this would be harder no just pressing of a nose, it would take hours to get this one under control.. Around 3am we are all squared away, then in what seemed like 15 min. it was 6am. Get up to get ready the lunches are made, the book bags are packed and the clothes are laid out..  I thought happy first day of school to all and to all a good nap!!!
     Good luck to all the parents sending their little one off to school this school year. I know it is hard especially if you are a special needs parent. But they are going to learn and show you amazing things. The days they are long but the years are so so short. It is true the years are too short and you may miss this as everyone says but man it doesn't seem like it at the time. Again good luck my fellow parts and god speed......

Yard Sale Haul.... bath and body works galore

It's a yard sale haul y'all!! Okay so this haul has been accumulated over a month at yard sales, estate sale and goodwill. As I have said before I collect bath and body works items, mostly sprays because I do use those. I also use the shower gels but rarely the lotions but I got a few this past month because they were older discontinued scents, so I had to do it... 

These sprays are from the mid 00s, there is a sheer freesia, night blooming jasmine and peony. These were found at a yard sale and an estate sale and were only $1 a piece. These scents are discontinued and sought after so I was happy to find them in almost unused condition. 

These are from the late 00s there is a black raspberry vanilla and a black amethyst. I paid $1 for the raspberry at a yard sale and 1.99 for the amethyst at goodwill. I believe both of these are discontinued as well (not sure about the raspberry they may still have it online). 

I don't normally buy lotions but since all of these scents are discontinued I took the risk. There is cotton blossom, signature vanilla coconut, velvet tuberose and a shea cashmere body cream. These are from the late 00s I believe and they were $1 a piece at an estate sale and are mainly unused. 

Thought I would throw these in too since they are body sprays as well. This is a victoria secret total attraction spray and juicy couture perfume. The spray was $1 at a yard sale and is full and the perfume was .69 at goodwill and half way full.
