It's Ok Momma I Used Dank Dank...
Not sure if any of you have children but if you do I am sure they have a special item like a toy or blanket something that comforts them.. My son has a blanket that we call dank dank (it was supposed to be bank-bank but my son said his b's like d's soo) he has had this blanket since birth he loves it, he hugs it all the time and it is his "best fwied" as he tells me.. Well we are on the potty training adventure so I tried putting him in big boy underwear so he could get the feel for hey I have to potty but of course my child has to be hard head and pee in them anyway so he watched my clean up his messes with paper towels (we have hardwood floors) so that day when we tried one more time with underwear (he sat on the potty for 20 min. by the way) he was playing and came in the kitchen I could tell that he had peed so I asked him if he had and he said "yeah momma but it ok I cleaned it up with dank dank" first off I thought what a way to treat your best fwiend then second was atleast he told me that would not have been good when he needed to take a nap.. So moral of the story is no matter how long they set on a potty if they don't want to go it's not going to happen and keep dank dank on dry land if at all possible.. Here's to potty training hopefully he won't be 20 and still in diapers HAHA!!!

A told B... It's a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom 3rd Birthday Party..
Thought I would do a blog on my son's 3rd Birthday party since it is rather unique a couple of months before the big event I asked him what kind of party he wanted and he looked at me and said "want a chicka boom letters party" not wanting to back down from a challenge I excepted it... I made quite a few of the decorations myself cause lets face it where are you going to find letter and coconut tree supplies but that is what I find so much fun!!! Here are some pics of his party decor hope it helps with ideas!!
This is the food and cake tables..
This is a closer look at the end of his banner I made these using his hands for the leaves thought that was really cute..
Closer look at cake table (the coconut tree was one of his presents for his birthday but I used it for decor and he loooooved it so much!!)..
His cake it was a hit everyone just thought it was too cute!! Also had cupcakes with toppers to match the theme I could not show them because there are some that had my son's face on them but you can see one in this pic..
This is a close up of the decor on the food table I made the coconut trees on each side of the book and just put different size and colored letters in a vase for the center piece..
This is of the favor table I had set up thought it would be fun for them to make their own favors to take home and the kids loved it one was to decorate their own noise makers (so when we read the book at the party they could shake their noise makers when you said boom boom) the other was taking toilet paper rolls and covering them with brown foam or construction paper then put leaves (which of course the kids traced their hands to make) and letters on them..
As for plates, napkins, cups, utensils and table cloths I just bought really bright fun colors like the book.. The invite was made by a lady on ebay and turned out really cute (but again they have my son's pic so they can't be seen) but They were orange and green with a coconut tree on the side with letters on it and my son's pic a the bottom and the wording
was"A told B and B told C I'll meet you at Jackson's 3rd birthday party.. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom will there be enough room?" Then it just said all the party info she created a file and sent it to me and I sent it to walmart and had them printed.. I think everything turned out really well and it looked so cute and my son just loved it and that is all that matters!! Hope I gave you some cute ideas for your next party!!

Potty is spelled c-r-a-n-e....
Ok well this did not go as planned I have not put a post up in three weeks not a very good start for my blogging experience and I wonder why no one reads it.. So for my first official blog on my "new" bloggedy I am going to tell you what my funny little three year old said the other day :0) We are trying to potty train and he is just not having it so we were in the bathroom (where we spend most every waking minute of the day right now) and he was sitting on the potty looking around and all of the sudden he say "c-r-a-n-e spells potty momma" I laughed and said "I think you are a little off son" and he said "it right here momma" and it was the brand of commode we have and written on the back of the seat and I said "well at least you get the idea" then spelled potty for him (I wasn't going to let me be confused).. This is one of the many reason I love being a stay at home momma I would have missed that whole conversation..

The Beginning Again.......
Okay well time for a fresh start so here we go I a 30 year old stay at home mommy of a wonderful 3 year old boy it has its ups and downs but that's life... I have been married for almost 4 years but with my husband for 6.. I have 2 animals an 8 year old mix breed dog and an 11 year old chinchilla they were my first babies and I love them dearly.. Worked from the time I was 16 until my son was born in 2009 never really knew what I wanted to do with my life until my son came along now it makes perfect sense My life plan was to be his mommy... Of course I love a good deal as seen by my previous posts it is an obsession it is like running a race and when you find that perfect deal you are crossing the finish line (is this a disease or condition of some sort)I really want to get into couponing but do not know how to get started so maybe I will chronicle that in this blog as well.. I really just want this to be an outlet for my being a stay at home mom you do not get alot of interaction with other people.. So here we go starting again I am still going to do the thrifty finds and may even bring back the cute and thrifty outfit of the day for my son we shall see :0}.....
