It's Consignment Sale Time!!! Getting Ready For The Sale!!! My List Fall 2013!!!...

As part of my consignment sale time getting ready series here is my list for the items I am wanting to buy this season.. I always make a list out before I go to keep my self on track so I don't buy things we really don't need, the first few sales I went to (check out my other blog posts for those hauls) I bought alot of things we really didn't need so with my list it is easier not to do that.. Here is my list for this year I got very lucky my older son didn't need anything this year so I just had to buy for the baby which made it easier on me, I will have a blog post of my haul soon so check it out to see if I did good with my list!!

It's Consignment Sale Time... Getting Ready For The Sale!!!.. Buying...

It is consignment sale time!!! So I am doing a series of blogs on how I prep for the sale and how I get ready for and buy at the sale.. This blog is going to be about how I get ready to buy..
-First thing I do is check both of my sons clothing and shoes to see what they need for the up coming season.. If you read my blogs you will also see that I tend to buy things all through out the year if I find good deals on them but there is always something I couldn't find or we just don't have enough of..
-Then I make a list of all the items I need (making a list makes it easier to not buy unnecessary things the first few times I went I purchased alot of things we really didn't need)..
   - Always take a big bag or basket (some people even bring totes) with you they may not have any for you or they may all be taken by the time you get in the sale..
-As I am going to the sale I figure out what we need most (this year it is baby essentials) and head over to that area first then I go down my list (this year because my older son really doesn't need that much his clothing/shoes will be at the end of my list).. It can get overwehlming when you first go in because of the size of it but once you have a routine down it  will go quickly (well that is not true give yourself a few hours to look cause it is a lot of stuff to go through) I should say it will become easier for you to navigate the sale..
-I pick up everything I find cute or like (this gives you different options to pick from and if you don't grab it then it may not be there if you decide you want it and go back for it)..
-Then I go in a corner out of the way and go through my bag most of the time I have a few things that after taking a good look at it (may have hole or stain you didn't see or you just don't like it after all) you may decide to put it back..
-After all of that it is the wait in line (which is the worst ever) if you don't have a friend with you to talk to I suggest you take a book or something to keep you busy I have waited in line for an hour and a half before so be prepared..
They are very worth it, if you can find a sale near you I suggest you go check it out!! Hope these tips help you if you are a new consignment shopper!! Happy Savings!!
