Thrifty finds from yard sales/kmart clearance.. Swim skirt 1.00 (yard sale), camera case 1.00 (yard sale), victoria secret spray 1.00 (yard sale), 5 pairs of hanes socks 2.00 (kmart), tupperware measuring spoons 1.00 (yard sale), 5 candle .45 (thrift store) and cars socks .75 a pair (kmart).. 

All items from yard sales.. Carters romper .50, jumping beans fry shirt .50, faded glory camo polo .50 (new), carhartt shirt 1.00, carters shorts .50, wonderkids sandals 1.00, nike tennis shoes 3.00 (new) and carters brown shoes 1.00 (new).. I love yard sales!!

All items came from yard sales.. Little me romper .50, cherokee polo shirt .50, okie dokie shorts .25, gap onesie .75, wonderkids shorts .25, garanimals army outfit .50, polo khaki shorts .75 and plaid shorts .25 (no brand)..

If you ever feel that you are the worst mother on the planet just remember this... My oldest son had a little nose bleed so I gave him a baby wipe, wasn't paying any attention about 5 min. went by looked down and my 4 month old had it in his mouth.. Your welcome..

Popcorn tub 1.00, eddie bauer shopping cart cover 3.00, american eagle shoes 1.00 and nike shox 2.50 (these look brand new)..

These items are from walmart and kmart sale/clearance.. Spiderman shirt (walmart 3.00), monsters inc shirt (walmart 4.00), danskin red shorts (walmart 2.00), wonderkids truck tank (kmart 1.25), black shorts (kmart 1.25), monster tank (kmart 1.25), grey shorts (kmart 1.25) and hanes socks (walmart 1 pack 3.50 other 3.00).. 

Goodwill trip.. Angry bird christmas shirts 2.00, john deere shirt 2.00, gymboree snowman pjs 2.00, bunny skins moustache onesie 1.00, abc toy .95, panda stickers .25, handy cam dvds 3.95 (new in package), bag of leap frog fridge phonics 2.95 and faded glory camo boots 2.00..

These are the outfits my sons wore for the week of 05/11-05/17...

Mother's day outfits!! Matching (yes I am one of THOSE moms who matches their children not all the time but it is cute sometimes and they are not matchy matchy they coordinate)!! Top pic nautica khaki shorts (goodwill 1.00), gymboree polo onesie (once upon a child 3.50) and wonderkids sandals (kmart 1.24).. Bottom pic gymboree button up shirt (goodwill 2.00), faded glory shorts (gifted) and wonderkids brown sandals (kmart 4.99).. Total for mother's day outfits was 12.73, they were so cute too!! 

Top pic scooby doo tshirt (yard sale .50), faded glory denim shorts (walmart clearance 3.00) and route 66 black sandals (kmart clearance 5.00).. Bottom pic child of mine monkey outfit (yard sale 1.00).. Total for both outfits 9.50, not bad clothing both kids for under $10!!

Top pic baby gap robot shirt (consignment sale 3.50), garanimals shorts (walmart clearance 1.00) and his sketchers shoes (not pictured but gifted).. Bottom pic old navy big trouble outfit (once upon a child clearance 1.00).. Total for both outfits is 5.50 that is pretty good!! 

Coordinating outfits!!! Top pic wrangler camo pants (yard sale 1.00), carhartt fishing shirt (amazon 7.00) and child of mine camo shoes (walmart clearance 7.00).. Bottom pic levis camo outfit (yard sale 2.00).. Total for both outfits was $17!! 

Quick and easy outfits.. Top pic carters monkey romper (yard sale 1.00).. Bottom pic angry bird outfit (goodwill 4.00) and angry bird sandals -not pictured-(kmart clearance 3.00).. Total for both outfits is 8.00!!

Thrifty Thursday!!!...05/08/14-05/14/14...

These items are from yard sales on 05/10/14..

All together the clothes in the pic was $7 they ranged between .50 and $1..

All items from the goodwill.. Love pic 1.25, black bead bracelet new 1.00, blues clues book .50, abc stickers new 1.00 crayola crayons new 1.00, nemo bib new 1.00, set of 7 boxes of flash cards 1.45, bag of toys 1.45, robots dvd 2.50 and horton hears a who dvd 2.50.. 

All items from the goodwill.. Hulk pjs 2.00, carters dog romper 1.00, mossy oak jacket new 2.00, insalute gloves .50 a pair, athletic shorts 1.00 and grey shorts 1.00.. 

Possibly my best find so far... The petunia pickle bottom evening in innsbuck city carry all diaper bag!! I got this beauty for $30 (yes you read that right, this bag sells for $160) off of my local yard sale page!! 

The Pacifier Fight of 2014!!!...

Most people are over joyed that their newborn baby will not take a pacifier.. I am not one of them.. My fist son was a pacifier baby in fact he had his until he was almost 3 years old, he gave it up himself which was a lot easier than taking it from him, and before you even think it no I would not have let him keep it after he was 3 if he hadn't weaned himself.. It made life a lot easier for me especially since my oldest had colic and got up every 2 hours till he was a year old (lets face it at 5 he still doesn't sleep the greatest) but that pacifier kept him from screaming his head off ALL DAY LONG.. Once he turned 18 months old it was just used for naps and going to sleep at night, at the time he weaned himself it was only at night.. With my second son it has been totally different he was taking a pacifier 10 min. old, only because I was bottle feeding and the hospital wouldnt let him eat till he was an hour old so he was hungry and couldnt eat so that was my alternative.. He had a little bit of a problem but I just assumed it was because he was a newborn and they have problems for a little while till they get used to them, as the day went on it got worse he would only suck on them for a min. then spit them right back out, oh how I tried.. I bought almost every different pacifier known to man in every size they made, it didnt make a difference he hated them all.. I tried holding it in for him but even it I held it for 10+ min. he would just spit it out once I moved my hand.. I finally just gave up, guess it is true that some babies just don't like pacifiers.. For my own sanity it is very good my second is the best baby because if he was anything like my first and didnt take a pacifier I would have already jumped off a cliff.. Every child is different and believe me I am learning that everyday...

Cute and Thrifty... 05/04/14-05/10/14...

These are the outfits my sons wore for the past week.. These are only the outfits they wore when we had to leave the house I don't show their lounge/play clothes just the cute going out clothes.. 

Top pic (yes I am aware that this is a polar bear outfit but it did get cold enough were we live for him to wear it, he never got to and it was so cute so I took the opportunity) gymboree polar bear shirt (yard sale .50) and matching gymboree jeans (yard sale .50).. Bottom pic (sorry for the wrinkles took pics after they were worn of course I forgot) john deere tshirt (kohls 6.00), wonderkids grey pants (kmart 3.00) he also wore a jacket and his sketchers shoes (shoes were a gift).. Total for both outfits was $10.00 now that is cute and thrifty!! 

On this day my oldest son were a shorts outfit that was a gift for his birthday last year so I didn't include it since it was all gifted to me.. My youngest sone wore this carters romper (goodwill 1.00).. Total for outfits on this day 1.00 you can't beat that!! 

Matching outfits day (sorta)!! Top pic gymboree big brother shirt (10.00), levis carpenter shorts (consignment sale 3.50) and sketcher shoes (gifted).. Bottom pic carters worlds best little brother onesie (gifted), okie dokie plaid shorts (thrift store .75).. Total for outfits this day was 14.25!! Will try and do better about remembering to take pics before they wear them but we shall see, atleast I got on up this week right? 

Thrifty Thursday!!... 05/01/14-05/07/14...

All of these items came from yard sales on 05/03/14.. I love yard sale season!!!

OshKosh jacket .50, crazy 8 swim trunks .25, athletic works navy pants .25, basic additions button up shirt .50 and crazy 8 rash gaurd .25.. 

Clifford dvd 1.00, thomas train dvd .50, farm abc book .50, blues room sound book (new in package) .25, fisher price block toy .50, cow toy .25, baby einstein dog toy .25, fisher price monkey toy .25, bear thanksgiving book .25 (new), baby nursery rhyme book .25 (new), christmas abc book .25 and vtech quiz whiz computer 2.00 (yes that thing is old as me but my son would not leave without it!!!! To top it off that was the most I spent on anything today).....

Blue changing pad cover .50, childrens plates and bowl .75, mesh feeder (out of package but never used) .25 a piece), oshkosh flannel .50, camo shirt .50, wonderkids jeans .50, camo pants .50 and button up shirt .50... 

Kmart clearance haul and my rewards points!!! For all of these items I paid less than $12!! SwaddleMe sleep sack (2.74), wonderkids shoes (yes these are for me lol 1.74), easter mega blocks bunny and chick (.54 a piece), chirping chick (.09), bunny bubbles (.24 a piece), bracelet (.99), egg cup (.24) bunny puppet (.99) and animal eggs (.27 a pack).. The easter clearance was 70% off, the other items were on clearance, plus my rewards card had $12 on it, so I got some super great deals!!

These items came from walmart clearance... Pampers 56 pack diapers (food lion clearance after coupon 10.19), remington curling wand (15.00), tampon travel pack (.75 picked these up for my diaper bag) and pants (1.00 a pair)... *update returned the wand it didn't work right, this doesn't a lot but every now and then you get a clearance item like that..* Poo this was supposed to go up on 05/08/14 which happens to be a thursday hince the thrifty thursday title but of course being the mom of 2 boys (yes I will use this excuse until they no longer live in my home) I forgot to put it up so enjoy thrifty thursday on a saturday... 

It's Baaaaaaccccckkkkk!!!.... My Fave Posts!!! Cute and Thrifty!!!... For a 5 Year Old and 3 Month Old!!.... 04/27/14-05/03/14....

I am bringing everything back (but sexy, never had that to begin with) this week!! Yes I am FINALLY bringing back my favorite post the cute and thrifty!! Which if you haven't read any of my older posts, here is a brief summery.. I want to show that you can dress your kids very cute and trendy without paying the outrageous prices in stores.. All of my son's clothing is from thrift stores,yard sales, consignment sales or clearance.. The only time they have brand new clothing that is not on sale is if they get them as gifts, we are a family on a budget so that is how we roll.. 

Outfits from Sunday 04/27/14.. Top pic 5 year old boy plaid old navy button up shirt (once upon a child 3.50), hanes white t-shirt  (walmart clearance .75), faded glory khaki shorts (gift from my mom 4.97 for info reasons), black sandals (kmart clearance 4.99).. Bottom pic 3 month old boy gymboree plaid button up shirt (once upon a child 3.50), childrens place shorts (goodwill 1.00), white onesie (yard sale .10) and nike sandals (gift from my mom 9.00 for info purposes).. So for both outfits it cost 27.81 keep in mind 14.00 of that was gifts from my mom so out of my pocket was only 13.81!! Now that is cute and thrifty!! 

These are their outfits for Monday 04/28/14... I forgot to take pics of the outfits laid out so had to take them in motion not the easiest going to try to remember before I dress them but not making any promises.. Top pic is my 3 month old (of course) he is wearing a carters romper with a whale on the booty (goodwill 1.00), love these kinds of outfits you will see alot of rompers on my youngest, you were warned.. Bottom pic 5 year old son (again of course) as you can see he is an angry bird lover (last years birthday was this theme there is a post about it), angry bird shirt (ebay 5.00), shorts garanimals (walmart clearance 1.00) and his shoes are angry bird sandals (kmart clearance 2.99).. So for both of my son's outfits I spent a whopping $10!! Now that is cute and thrifty!! 

Well I am trying to get back in the swing of things so as usual it isn't going as planned.. Only have my 3 month olds outfit for tuesday 04/29/14 because we were in a hurry and I forgot my 5 year olds dun dun dun.. Oh well at least I remembered the baby.. Shirt is carters (yard sale .50), jeans are old navy (yard sale 1.00) and socks are converse (consignment sale 1.25).. My older son wore a mickey mouse t-shirt (consignment sale 2.50), pair of wrangler jeans (gift from my mom 9.00), sketchers tennis shoes (gift from my dad not sure of cost) and cherokee jacket (new with tag at goodwill 2.00)..Both outfits cost 7.25, since I don't add in gifts!! Now that is cute and thrifty!! Hopefully I can remember from now on but probably not, going to blame it on my mommy brain that is the excuse for everything!!

Top pic cars shirt (ross 3.99), garanimals (walmart clearance 1.00) and sketchers tennis shoes (a gift not pictured)..  Bottom pic carters anchor outfit (goodwill 2.00), nike sandals (gift not pictured) *fun fact about this outfit it is still in stores for $24 and I got it for $2*, go me!!  Total for todays outfits is 6.99!! Now that is cute and thrifty!! *Another fun fact all of my older sons clothing will be passed down (unless it gets stained or has ALOT of wash wear) so I am getting double the wear out of my already thrifty clothes!!!!*

It's Baaaaaaaaack....... Thrifty Thursday!!!!... With Some Old Buys Added In...

Yes it is everyones favorite blog post the return of thrifty thursdays!!! I really liked doing these but once I got farther along in my pregnancy it was just tiring trying to do anything so of course like the rest of the blog thrifty thursday got lost in the shuffle.. But I do have a few pics of things purchased right before I gave up on doing anything but taking care of my child and the house work that had to be done.. Also once I had my baby bundle there really was not time to go shopping but now that he is older and it is nicer outside I am getting out more!! 

As you can see this was from around halloween... Wow..... Halloween sleeper (kmart clearance 2.79), Monster costume (kmart clearance 3.49), short outfit (dollar general 1.00) and hooded baby towels (walmart clearance 5.00).. Can't believe I actually remember the prices but I do!!! 

This was probably from end of Nov. early Dec. this was stuff I needed but didn't receive at my shower and since I live in a small town where it is hard to find anything I got these items off of ebay.. Back row vintage books for nursery decor got 4 of them (less than 15.00), jungle theme grooming set (around 12.00), pacifier/pacifier wipe holder (12.99), nuby pacifier holders (3.99), handmade pacifier holders (around 6.00) and a set of baby nail clippers with magnifying glass on them (less than 4.00 by the way this don't waste your time with the magnifying glass it doesn't help at all).. Couldn't remember these prices as well but got close as I could.. 

Now here we are in present day.. These items are from the walmart easter clearance this is the first year I got items for next years basket, all of this is for my older son's easter basket next year but the masks they are for his carnival/circus themed birthday party.. Masks (.24 a pack), jump rope (.24), bunny jacks (.49), spinning bots (.49), bunny jumpers (.24) and easter grass (.34).. 

Good ole goodwill... fisher price cow (.75), outlet covers (.75), bob builder book with magnets (.50), little critter book (.50), knit shorts (1.00), bright starts toy (.75), baby einsteins music toy (.35), new bottle of baby lotion (1.00) and fisher price snail toy (.55).. This isn't how it usually works with me and goodwill we have a love/hate relationship some days are good, some are not.. I won't be doing these every week maybe every two weeks or so, don't really do enough shopping in one week unless it has been an especially good one and with yard sale season starting it may be!!
