Christmas Countdown 2021-Day 25-My Decor Lit Up At Night

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Thought I would share my decor lit up at night for the last day of the countdown. Like I have said before this month went by so fast I can not believe it is Christmas already. I got the lights off of amazon they are called fairy lights I even used them in my ceramic tree and my santa blow mold. I don't like using the cords that come with them since they are older so I just put the fairy lights in and it works great! I really love the look of the lights at night it is so pretty and calming. Countdown To Christmas 2021-Day 24-The Shelf in my Living Room

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Today is a closer look at my ladder shelf in my living room, I felt it needed it's own post. This is also a mix of new and vintage items and I love it too. I also added the wooden chair I got from goodwill for $4 beside it. This is probably one of my favorite years of decorating cause I got to add more of my vintage items in. 

 

Countdown To Christmas 2021-Day 23-My Living Room Decor-Ironing Board-Box Shelves and Tree

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Today is the day I share my Christmas living room decor with you. In this post I will be sharing my ironing board table, box shelves, gnome shelf and my tree (my ladder shelf will be it's own post). I mixed in my newer decor with my vintage decor this year and I really like it. At some point I am hoping to have all vintage decor but that will be a long time from now, my son is still a bit touchy so that will have to wait. I always love my tree it is a mix of vintage and newer too and the lights change color and it rotates so we love to look at it. As you can see my theme this year was gnomes and brass both things I love! 

 

Countdown To Christmas 2021-Day 22-The Last Christmas Haul of the Year!

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Can you believe it is almost Christmas day? This year/month has flown by way too fast. I have one last haul of items I have picked up here or there for the past month or so, so this is the last Christmas haul of the year. The first pic both items are from dollar general the small sign was $3 the large metal countdown to Christmas was $5! In the second pic (just noticed my sign is upside down LOL) the tall gnome came from family dollar for $5 and the shorter guy (lights up) was from krogers for $10. This finally the last haul I have, I mean man did I really need anymore??? 

 

Countdown To Christmas 2021-Day 21-More Decor Finds.....

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Wanted to share one last haul of decor items before I share my livingroom decor for this year. This is a collective haul of items from a few different places. The top pic the gnome window was at ollies for 11.99, the grey gnome with bells was at a craft shop for $16 (I had christmas money). The plush gnome was from ollies for 7.99 and the wooden gnome was from a craft shop for $18. The second pic all came from family dollar (they have some cute stuff) the small pic was $3, the door was $5 and the gnome tree topper was $3. Got a few good deals and who can resist gnomes! 

 

Countdown To Christmas Day 12-More Dollar Store Finds-Plus a Little Craft Shop Haul

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Yes, it is yet another haul from the dollar stores and more Christmas stuff. I can't help it when they have so many cute things for such great prices! The merry Christmas sign was from family dollar for $3, the beaded tree was dollar general for $2 the gnome came from walmart for 8.98 and the advent calendar was from dollar general for $3. 

     The last pic is the items I got at the craft shop open house I went to a few weeks ago. I got the two bead decor items for $5 each. The two gnome ornaments was 1.50 each and the two small plush gnomes was $2 a piece. I wanted to buy everything in the store but I have so much already I had to control myself. 

 

Countdown To Christmas Day 11-Goodwill Haul-Decor-Elf on the Shelf Dog

     Hello thrifty mommas!! I haven't had too much luck at the goodwill in a while so this post is from last month but I wanted to share it cause I found some nice items. The wicker vase is very pretty and I love the lavendar spray in it it was 1.99. The galvanized house was 1.99 (using it in my decor for Christmas) and the home sign was .99. The last item I found that day was the little dog that goes with the elf on the shelf dolls and I think he is so adorable, he was only .50! 

 

Countdown To Christmas Day 10-Dollar Store Haul-Of course Gnomes and Signs

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Had to share my dollar store haul with you I love dollar generals decor items I have stated this before many times and Christmas did not disappoint. In the first pic the green guy with the long legs was $5, the two small guys was $3 and the little sign was $1. The second pic the grey guys came from walmart for 2.48 each and the other two was from dollar tree for $1. The last pic is my signs I got the big red one from family dollar for $5, the small black plaid from dollar general for $3 and the countdown to Christmas from dollar general for $3 too. 

 

Countdown To Christmas Day 9-Salvation Army Haul-Lots O' Brass

     Hello thrifty mommas!! Yet another none Christmas haul in a Christmas countdown but as I had mentioned I did use some of the brass in my decor this year (you will see that post soon). All the items purchased came from salvation army. In the first pic is a tray, pot and some kind of holder (I'm going to use it for books) all of these items was 1.99. The second pic of the vase, candle holder, bud vase small try and wooden hammer was .49-.99 (they was running a sale that day).  In the last pic the candle holders and the wall decor with the wooden handle was .99 and lastly the swan was 2.99. I should mention that this took me about 2 months to collect it wasn't all in one visit. 

 

Countdown To Christmas Day 8-Walmart Haul-Gnomes and More Gnomes

     Hello thrifty mommas!! I got quite a few gnome decor items from walmart these past couple of months and I regret nothing! I picked up the white lamp at tractor supply for 9.99 (I kindof wish I had waited till it was on sale but I like it in my decor so not a complete fail). The tall gnome was 8.98, all the small gnome ornaments was 1.98 each and the small gnomes on the cards was 1.98 each too. The berry and twig picks was 1.98 as well (guess walmart loves the 1.98 price point). 

 

Countdown To Christmas Day 7-Salvation Army/Yard Sale Haul-Brass-Picks and Ceramic Houses

     Hello thrifty mommas!! I know this isn't really Christmas related and this is a countdown to Christmas but I thought I could include these items since I used most of them in my decor for Christmas. In the first pic I found the ceramic house at goodwill for 1.99 and the brass candle holders for .99 a piece at salvation army (as you can tell I am really into brass right now). Then I got the wooden box and brass tray at a yard sale for $1 a piece, the picks came from a yard sale for .25 a piece and the brass bell came from a yard sale for $5. Lastly are two brass vases I got at a yard sale a while ago but I forgot to include them in another haul I paid $5 for both of those. 

 

Countdown To Christmas Day 6-Gnome Craft Show Finds...

     Hello thrifty mommas!! I am a little behind on my countdown to Christmas so I'll just start where I am at on day 6. I probably won't have a post for everyday till Christmas but I will try! In this post I am going to be sharing the items I got at a craft show a couple months ago. Of course I bought all the gnome things cause that is what I love right now. The wreath was $10, the towel was $2, the ornaments was $2 a piece and the hat with the eyes on it was $2 too. Once October hits I am in Christmas mode and looking for all the Christmas stuff.
