05/22/13-Wonderkids robot shirt 2.99 (kmart clearance), old navy blue/white plaid shorts 2.00 (goodwill) and smartfit sandals 2.00 (goodwill).. Total for outfit 6.99!! 

05/24/13-Wonderkids sting ray outfit 3.99 (kmart clearance) and nike shox tennis shoes 10.00 (yard sale page).. Total for outfit 13.99!!

05/26/13-Carhartt hunting dog shirt 13.00 (amazon), wrangler jean shorts 3.00 (walmart clearance) and brown converse 2.00 (consignment sale).. Total for outfit 18.00!!

What Ever Happened To Graphic Shirts?....

As you know I am a mom to a 4 year old boy, I read a lot of blogs and watch my share of youtube videos and one thing I have noticed is how a lot of moms say "I don't like graphic tees or charecter tees, that just isn't the look for me".. I am very aware that people are entitled to their own opinion so here is mine.. My son loves thomas the train, angry birds and mickey mouse among others, he also loves to wear clothing with them on it and just because it is not the "look for me" doesn't mean I won't let him wear it.. If I am not mistaken are they not the ones wearing the clothes not you so it really isn't your look it is theirs.. Kids now a days grow up too quick why make them dress like little grown ups when they are infants and toddlers? If your child likes dinosaurs or cars what is so wrong with getting them a shirt with that on it? Like I said people are entitled to their opinion this is just mine, I just felt the need to put it out there.. Now if you will excuse me I have to put my son in his thomas the train shirt and run to the store..

Thrifty Thursday 05/09/13-05/22/13...

Dark khaki pants 3.00 (walmart clearance), light khaki pants 3.00 (walmart clearance),  VT hat 1.00 (walmart clearance), socks 1.00 (walmart clearance), carrot bubble necklaces .50 (goodwill), baby gap boots 2.00 (goodwill) and potty book-barnyard book .50 a piece (goodwill)..

 Got a few things for mommy (hadn't done that in a while).. Mint green lace back shirt very thin will be great for hot summer days 5.00 (walmart clearance) and motherhood  (yes this is a maternity shirt but I thought it would be fine to wear even if you arent pregnant it is very thin and for the price I couldnt leave it) 2.50 (thrift shop).. 

Note To Self.....

Note to self.... 

• Do not give your son a bowl of fruity peebles without milk they will just end up ALL OVER your house... 
• Also make sure the dish soap is out of reach the dog doesn't enjoy it slathered all over her back... 
• Don't leave the mop water near the baby gate your son will put his favorite blanket in the dirty water and not tell you, then when it is bed time his blanket will still be wet and he will be very angry..
• Do not leave your lotion on the bathroom sink unless you want to try and get that mess out of your childs hair..
• Put play-doh on the highest shelf possible, your carpet will thank you.. 
• Don't leave your childs spray sun screen laying around it does not work as an air freshener..
• Do not buy unopened art supplies at yard sales more than likely when opened the paint will be dried up..
•  Make sure to pick up all un eaten gummies, the dog looks funny with bald spots from having to cut them out of her fur.. 
• Never give my son a cherry icee and leave the room for a minute, when I come back the kitchen will be red.. 
• Don't let your son hold his flash cards while he goes peepee, they will fall out in the potty..

05/17/13-Thomas the train shirt 2.00 (consignment store), red, white and blue shorts .50 (yard sale), childrens place black shoes 3.50 (consignment sale).. Total of whole outfit 7.00!!

05/18/13-John deere shirt 8.00 (khols.com), old navy camo shorts 2.00 (goodwill) and childrens place shoes 3.50 (consignment sale).. Total for whole outfit 11.50!! 

As you can tell I have been missing with my blog and figuring things out so hopefully in the future my blogs will look better!!

Cute and Thrifty 05/06/13-05/12/13...

05/06/13-It was cold and rainy today, could not believe I had to put him in jeans and long sleeves.. Old navy racing shirt 2.00 (goodwill), levis carpenter jeans 1.50 (thrift shop) and black nike shoes 4.00 (new at thrift shop).. Total for whole outfit was 7.50!! 05/08/13-This is the first outfit my son has picked himself... Popeye shirt 2.00 (goodwill), faded glory jeans 5.00 (walmart clearance) and cars shoes 3.00 (walmart clearance).. Total for my son's pick was 10.00!!! He did really good (even picked matching socks)!! 05/10/13-Baby gap pocket tee 1.75 (ebay), childrens place plaid shorts 7.49 (childrens place clearance) and brown smart fit sandals 2.00 (goodwill).. Cost of whole outfit 11.24!!! 05/12/13-Mother's Day outfit!!! Gymboree button up shirt 3.50 (consignment sale), osh kosh khaki pants 1.00 (flea market) and skechers shoes 5.50 (consignment store).. Total for outfit 10.00!!

Thrifty Thursday!! 05/02/13-05/08/13...

Yard sale season has begun!!! I love it!! So here is what I got this weekend at the sales.. Berry wreath 1.00, yarn balls .50, bag of birds/birdhouses 1.00, wonderkids boots 2.00 (these were at the goodwill), shoes under in box 3.00, eddie bauer capri pants 2.00 and live-laugh-love sign 1.00.. Wow not a lot of buys this week... Might have to start doing these monthly or every other week.. What can I say some weeks are better than others!!

Where's Annabelle....

I was putting clean sheets on my bed the other night when my dog decided to get up on it.. Told her to move so I could put the bottom par of the sheets on, but she just laid there.. So I said "if you don't move girl I will put the sheets over you".. Still didn't move an inch so I put the sheet over her and she still just laid there.. Guess she would have stayed there all night but I finally got smart and got a treat.. My lazy girl gotta love her!!

My Son's Rainbow Hallway....

The other night my son came running into my room and asked me to get him his "wainbow hawway".. After about 5 min. and one very agitated little boy I just had him show me what he was talking about.. Last summer my mom bought him a play tunnel and it is red, yellow and purple that is what he was refering to as his rainbow hallway.. Once we got it figured out he was playing all kinds of games with it then he stops and says "mommy this hawway is amiylo, rojo and varde" it took me a couple times of hearing it to realize he was telling me the colors in spanish.. Could not believe it he is so smart I am one proud mommy!!! People say you shouldn't let your kids watch too much tv well looks to me like watching dora and diego really pays off.. Can't believe I actually put a blog up that didn't have to do with a haul!! Go me!!

A Month Of Thrifty Thursdays!!....

So as you can see I slacked on my blogging so that means thrifty thursday got pushed to the side.. So I am doing a blog for this whole month of thrifty thursdays this is not every thing I know there are somethings that were forgotten but thought I would show you what I had then next thursday get back on track!! Lets go... Camo overalls 1.75 thrift store, dry erase cards .55 thrift store, books .10 thrift store, thomas magnetic book 1.00 thrift store, hush puppy shoes 1.50 thrift store (looked brand new sooo comfy) and plastic drum toys 1.00 goodwill.. Bag of primitve decor 2.00 goodwill, mickey game .95 (new), mickey tub .95, wack a mole game .95, lei capri pants 1.50 thrift store, lands end khaki capri pants 1.50 (looked brand new) thrift store and denim shorts .50 (looked brand new) thrift store.. I used to get ALOT of my son's clothes off of ebay cause of the great deals you can get (I was addicted) but it just got to be a hassle most of the items were not in good shape and worth the time.. With that being said I had to get this lot of shirts from there it was 10 all together 2 were angry birds the other 8 are baby gap and I got them all for 18.00 after shipping so that come to less than $2 a shirt.. Of course 2 of them are the wrong size and 2 of them have light staining (which was not mentioned in the listing) but it was still a good deal hopefully they bigger shirts fit next year..
