A Pumpkin For Halloween? Really?....
The great one has spoken I have asked my son on more than one occasion what he wants to be for Halloween and every time he says a pumpkin, yes a pumpkin isn't that what they are supposed to be when they are babies? For some reason my son is obsessed with pumpkins he loves them we go to the pumpkin patch every year and he loves to walk around and look at them in the store.. So if it is really what he wants to be for Halloween than that is what he will be.. For his first Halloween he was Tigger (so cute he had the puffy costume), next was a dog costume that looked like our dog, then last year it was Steve/Blue here is how that happened.. I asked my son what he wanted to be for Halloween last year and he told me Steve and I thought well all he needs is a striped shirt and khaki pants buuuuttt I saw a full length plush Blue costume on ebay and thought that is soooo cute!!! So of course I ordered it and when it arrived my son was terrified of it, that is what I get.. As Halloween approached he still did not like the Blue costume (we tried letting him get around it and carry it around and he still was not having us try it on him) but I caught a break and found a striped Steve shirt at Goodwill if worse came to worse he would be Steve.. Well it came to the day of Home Town Halloween (the weekend before Halloween we have a little festival in our town) and he would not go near Blue so he was Steve and every one loved him(if he would have been patient enough I would have entered him in the costume contest he probably would have won)!! A few days later on Halloween my dad (PopPop to my son) came up to visit and since he does not like to waste money himself he decided to take my son outside to see if he would wear the costume outside and low and behold he did so that night he was Blue and I was very happy to not waste the money every one loved that costume too.. So the moral of my long story is if he wants to be a boring pumpkin that is what he will be cause I will never try to change his mind again LOL... Happy Halloween to everyone out there!!!
Goodwill saved us again I found this for only 2.95!!! It has a hood and my son does not like that but we can make some adjustments and it will work for us.. So he gets to be a pumpkin this year like he wanted!!!
